ABOUT THE COURTHOUSE
The elegant Courthouse was established in 1994 in response to overwhelming requests from guests to host private functions in our main restaurant. In order to host the larger gatherings without disturbing our regular patrons dining experience, the private function rooms were added on to back side of the Old Jailhouse Tavern.
The Courthouse is the perfect place for all your special occasions, including rehearsal dinners, weddings, anniversaries, banquets, business meetings, and holiday parties. The Courthouse has its own private entrance with a bright and spacious lobby and comfortable sitting room off to the right with its own warm fireplace, perfect for taking pictures that will create memories that last a lifetime.
Great attention was given to the design and details of the Courthouse offering two unique function rooms in order to accommodate your special gatherings.
The Judge’s Chambers with its rich oak paneling and warm bar is perfect for the smaller and more intimate gatherings with beautiful French doors that lead out to the adjoining outdoor patio and courtyard which is delicately framed by a colorful flower garden.
The impressive Courtroom with its textured walls and stenciling, has the feel of old New England and is ideal for the larger gatherings such as weddings, reunions, and retirement parties.
Our Courthouse facility can accommodate parties of 30 to 150 guests and with our ample parking and close proximity to Route 6 and picturesque Skaket Beach located on the bay side of Cape Cod, it’s a wonderful place to host your event.
